Position Summary

Join the beauty retail division of CVS Health, America's leading retail pharmacy with over 9,000 stores. We seek a talented, sales-oriented Beauty Sales Consultant passionate about the retail beauty industry, dedicated to providing top-notch client experiences. Share the latest beauty trends and techniques, leveraging your industry knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction.

Customer Sales Experience

• Provide personalized sales service, upselling, and follow-up to build lasting relationships.
• Engage customers as they enter the beauty zone, listening to their needs and offering tailored advice.
• Use your verbal skills confidently to generate sales and stimulate customer interest.
• Answer product questions with detailed knowledge to maximize sales baskets.

Operational

• Educate customers on product benefits and usage, leveraging CVS beauty programs.
• Participate in sales programs and events, explaining promotions and inviting customers to in-store activities.
• Create and maintain product displays and promotional materials.
• Keep the beauty zone clean, stocked, and compliant with hygiene standards.
• Execute sanitation and waste disposal policies promptly and correctly.

Training & Personal Growth

• Complete onboarding and ongoing training to stay current on sales and product knowledge.
• Meet sales goals and track progress regularly.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions on new products and initiatives.
• Strive to exceed previous sales achievements and maintain a professional appearance.
• Stay curious about beauty trends and continuously improve your skills.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and move throughout the store, perform manual tasks, and reach objects on lower shelves.
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity, including ear piercing (training provided).

Required Qualifications

• Sales-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and meet goals.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak hours.
• Willing to perform ear piercing services (training provided).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred in some stores).
• At least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous beauty sales experience.
• Knowledge of beauty products and brands.
• Passion for beauty.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Additional Details

• Weekly hours: 40
• Full-time position.
• Pay range: $17.25 - $26.00 per hour.
