Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is seeking a friendly Beauty Advisor in Ames to deliver a memorable shopping experience. You will assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails, drawing on training Sally Beauty provides.

Bring passion and personality to help customers on their beauty journey. You will build relationships, promote products, inform customers of promotions, and help manage displays and loyalty program enrollment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management clearly and concisely.
• Ability to apply product knowledge training to customer service.
• Able to read and explain product labels.
• Can follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and merchandise to highlight sales and promotions.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
• Various working schedules offered to suit different needs.
