Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience by engaging guests, assessing needs, and recommending products. You will also perform cashier duties, keep fixtures stocked, and maintain overall store cleanliness.

The BA supports leadership through focus on service, guest relationships, and process compliance, with a passion for the beauty industry and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales.
• Greet and engage each guest, answer questions about products and services, inform guests about promotions and sales, and recommend products.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications and skincare analysis to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
• Maintain store cleanliness, replenish testers, and ensure product availability.
