Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Cincinnati is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, determine individual needs, perform cashier tasks, keep fixtures stocked, and maintain store cleanliness.

You will conduct makeup applications and product demonstrations to drive sales, book appointments for services and events, stay informed on new products, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and engaging each guest, understanding their needs, and recommending products and services.
• Perform cashier tasks and assist with online orders, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep fixtures replenished and the sales floor clean and organized; ensure testers are available.
• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed on new and existing products and communicate benefits to guests.
