Position: Nordstrom Beauty Counter Manager

The Nordstrom Beauty Counter Manager plays a dual role – part salesperson, part educator – while maximizing sales in their assigned beauty brand. Ideal candidates are results-oriented, thrive in a commissioned sales environment, are passionate about beauty trends, and can build a customer following both in-store and digitally.

A day in the life…

1. Conduct makeup applications, skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customer’s beauty goals.
2. Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers.
3. Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals, utilizing both in-store and digital selling tools (including text and social media).
4. Manage the scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions.
5. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize business results.
6. Keep the department customer-ready through organization and cleanliness.
7. Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and luxury brand partners.
8. Manage sales, refunds, exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.

Pay Range Details

The pay range for this position is $23.85 - $24.85 hourly, dependent on location, experience, and knowledge. This position may be eligible for performance bonuses. Benefits include 401(k), insurance options, PTO, holidays, and more. Commission rates for beauty sales are typically 3%.
