Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Terre Haute, IN seeks a friendly Sales Associate to greet customers, educate on tanning services, and help meet daily sales goals. You will handle cash, maintain a clean salon, and track performance against targets while delivering outstanding customer care.

Full-time position with flexibility including nights and weekends. Training provided, opportunities for advancement, and employee discounts on tanning products. Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment.
• Must be able to stand and move for long periods and lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Meeting sales goals measured daily/weekly/monthly.
• Consults with customers in a professional, upbeat manner.
• Ensures customers are educated on tanning guidelines and company rules.
• Maintains a clean and organized salon.
• Cash handling, opening/closing business.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
