Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Ruston, LA is seeking a Beauty Advisor to provide an exceptional guest experience. You will engage guests to determine needs, perform makeup applications and skincare analysis, and assist with cashier duties while keeping fixtures stocked and the store clean.

You will support the leadership team through delivering service and sales, participate in in-store events, stay knowledgeable about products, and help build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS system, Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, answering questions, and recommending products/services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events.
• Stay informed about new and existing products to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
