Job summary

Sally Beauty in Reno, NV is seeking a Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor to create a memorable shopping experience, assist with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails, and guide customers on their beauty journey with expert product knowledge.

You will build relationships, promote loyalty, demonstrate Sally Beauty culture values, and participate in promotions and merchandise displays. Must be 18+, high school diploma, 1+ year retail experience; flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to apply knowledge from product knowledge training to support customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure our customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
