Job summary

belk is seeking a Team Beauty Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by providing excellent service, performing product applications, and offering customized recommendations across multiple beauty brands in our store.

You will build client relationships, support promotions, maintain merchandising standards, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment with commission opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative to achieve store objectives and key metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences by building genuine relationships with team, vendors, customers, and community.
• Build customer loyalty through personalized consultations, clienteling tools, and tailored product advice across brands.
• Execute promotions, events, and customer outreach to maximize performance and sales.
• Use selling tools and devices to provide an omnichannel experience—discuss inventory, assortment, and product details.
• Build product knowledge and suggestive selling through training and brand resources, staying current with beauty trends.
• Merchandise and replenish products timely; maintain visual merchandising, signing, and hygiene standards.
• Contribute to a positive store culture by sharing knowledge and celebrating team achievements.
• Support store operations and omni initiatives, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned.
