Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, handle sales, and support store operations. You will guide customers in selecting products, perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, and help coordinate in-store events and services.

Ideal candidates have a passion for beauty, strong customer relationships, and comfort with technology. This full-time role requires flexibility for a dynamic retail environment and weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions about products and services, informing guests about promotions, and recommending products/services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
