Ulta Beauty in Phillipsburg, NJ is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience with makeup applications and skincare analysis, while driving sales through demonstrations and expert product knowledge. You’ll greet guests, answer questions, and assist with store events and servicing duties.

As a BA you’ll maintain store standards, stay informed about new products, work with the leadership team, and ensure compliance with policies and dress code.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service; greet, engage, and personalize service while informing about promotions.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales targets.
• Stay informed about new products and services and communicate benefits to guests.
