Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, conduct makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales. You will greet guests, answer questions, and assist with on-line orders while keeping the store clean and well stocked.

The position requires strong guest service skills, an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn product knowledge. Benefits and schedules vary by full-time or part-time status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest experience by greeting and engaging each guest, identifying needs, and recommending products and services.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and elevate the guest experience.
• Handle cashier tasks, process transactions, refunds, and exchanges.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events to deliver on sales goals.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restock fixtures, and keep testers available and organized.
• Stay informed about new products and services and communicate benefits to guests.
