Job summary

O'Hare Concessions is seeking a Beauty Advisor (Coty) at Dufry in Chicago to deliver an exceptional shopping experience focused on fragrance and cosmetics. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and drive sales through engaging service and upselling.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, flexible hours including mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays, and the ability to stand long hours and lift up to 25 pounds.

Beauty Advisor (Coty) - Dufry - $22.25/hour + commissions

Responsible for providing customers with a complete shopping experience through enthusiastic service, product expertise, and strong sales skills. The primary focus is delivering exceptional customer service and driving fragrance sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Additional responsibilities include maintaining store operations, supporting administrative duties, and ensuring the highest standards of presentation, merchandising, and customer satisfaction.

Provide exceptional customer service by consistently demonstrating the Six Steps of Best Selling. Direct customers throughout the store and to specific areas of interest. Provide friendly and knowledgeable information on the full range of products available. Assist customers with purchases, including cash transactions and gate deliveries. Communicate customer feedback, concerns, and product issues to the Store Manager. Perform opening and closing duties as required. Adhere to all company service standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards. Ensure fixtures and display tables are fully stocked and properly merchandised. Assist with inventory accuracy and stock control. Maintain the store and brand image by following company uniform guidelines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of work. Genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Knowledge of fragrance and cosmetics products preferred.

Minimum 1 to 2 years of retail experience, preferably in fragrance and cosmetics. Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexible availability based on business needs. Practice safety consciousness at all times. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
