Job description

A four-hospital Georgia health system, the most comprehensive health system serving the area, is excited to recruit a general neurosurgeon to join its employed hospital system. The system also provides ambulance services, an extensive medical office network, a cancer center, a hospice facility, a retirement center, a skilled nursing facility, imaging centers, and urgent care clinics. Service lines of regional prominence include heart and vascular care, stroke, trauma, cancer, orthopedics, surgery, and women’s and infants’ health. The incoming neurosurgeon will join one employed neurosurgeon in providing best-in-class quality healthcare to the community, alongside a local neurosurgeon who assists with call coverage.

Position Highlights:

1. Full-time, permanent position
2. Call is 1:2, includes weekend call. Call is not burdensome at all and neurosurgeon rarely has to go in
3. Neurosurgery clinic located on main campus
4. Level III Trauma Center
5. All surgeries performed on main campus
6. OR Block time
7. NP assigned to each neurosurgeon
8. Hospital based employment, shared call
9. Qualifications:

1. BC/BE by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, can provide visa assistance
