Beautician (Part-Time)(1st and 2nd shift) - Chandler Place AL

Navion is seeking a Hair Stylist / Beautician to operate its in-house salon on their own schedule. Our community is equipped with a full salon that serves its residents. The Hair Stylist / Beautician should be a SC Licensed Cosmetologist with a passion for working with seniors.

This is a Part-Time opportunity! $100 per month booth rent fee. Must do your own invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions.
• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers' face shapes and tastes.
• Wash, rinse, and dry clients' hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners.
• Cut, trim, and shave hair using professional equipment.
• Build relationships with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences.
• Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, independent living, hospital, or long-term care environment is a plus.
• SC Licensed Cosmetologist.
• High school diploma.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hands-on experience with makeup and hair removal techniques.
• Familiarity with skin care therapies like moisturizing, exfoliation, and peeling.
• Knowledge of beauty products and trends.
• Ability to provide personalized services based on each client's requirements.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours.
