Job summary

Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Anderson, IN is hiring a licensed beautician to serve residents with hair care within the scheduled hours 8AM–4PM.

You will maintain the parlor, style hair per residents, handle chemicals safely, and foster a friendly environment while ensuring safety for residents and staff.

Healthcare experience is a plus but not required; prior beautician or barber experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State license in cosmetology required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience as a beautician or barber.
• Prior experience in a healthcare facility preferred but not required.

• Has knowledge of chemicals and processes used in the service.
• Identifies and responds in a timely and sensitive manner to the needs of the residents receiving beauty services.
• Maintains beauty parlor log for residents being serviced.

Job description

The Beautician will be paid by residents for the beauty services rendered. The schedule is set between the hours of 8AM and 4PM; day of the week is flexible.
