Job summary

Beam Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Paint & Prep Worker to support painting and cleaning of manufactured parts on the production floor. You will move materials to painting stations, clean items for adhesion, and perform painting with touch-ups as required.

The role requires operating and cleaning a paint gun, handling hand tools, and adhering to safety procedures on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write at a 12th grade level.
• Experience with material handling equipment and paint spraying equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Move material to/from cleaning or painting stations and related production ops.
• Clean items to meet part requirements for paint adhesion.
• Paint items per specifications and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Load/unload items from carousel and paint booth; operate paint gun and basic hand tools.
