Job summary

MAAG Pump Systems in Eagle Rock, VA is seeking a Peener Operator to support bead blasting operations on the factory floor. You will load materials, operate blasting equipment, and ensure quality finishes while maintaining safety protocols.

The role requires forklift operation, the ability to handle heavy items, and strict adherence to PPE requirements. A high school diploma is mandatory and team players are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Must be able to operate forklift.
• Must pass breathing test.
• Experience with bead blasting operations is desirable.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and run blasting equipment for optimal performance.
• Load and unload materials from blasting cabinet/booth.
• Hold a high‑pressure hose for extended periods.
• Fill hopper with glass bead blasting material.
• Identify and resolve issues with blasting equipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and teamwork.
