Job summary

Randstad USA in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Beacon Analyst for an immediate contract role. You will participate in design, validation, and documentation, and provide clinical consultation as part of Epic Beacon implementation and support.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, experience with Epic Beacon, and strong analysis, communication, and change-control skills. You will work 8am–5pm on-site and handle on-call support as needed, developing training materials and maintaining system

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic Beacon system is essential.
• Ability to analyze workflows and design system configurations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs.
• Provide technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration and review of system needs.
• Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation.
• Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use.
• Provide support of application incidents including 24/7 on-call coverage as required.
• Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality and operational workflows.
• Analyze workflows, data collection, report details, and Epic software issues.
• Collaborate with trainers to develop and maintain training curriculum and materials.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs and manage changes to specifications; prioritize and implement updates; test releases.
• Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control.
• Develop relationships with end users, customers and partners and facilitate stakeholder communication from requirements to implementation.
• Troubleshoot and/or resolve application issues and more complex issues as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs.
• Provide technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration. Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customers.
• Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation.
• Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use.
• Provide support of application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on call coverage as required.
• Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality; acquire and utilize knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented.
• Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
• Work with trainers to develop and maintain application specific training curriculum and materials.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to specifications prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates and requested changes to the system; review and test each new release; troubleshoot problems and questions from end users.
• Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control.
• Develop strong relationships with end user communities, customers and business partners.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementation.
