Job summary

Vero Orthopaedics in Vero Beach, Florida is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic team. The role focuses on evaluating and treating patients recovering from surgery and injuries with evidence-based practices, onsite at our state-of-the-art facility.

The ideal candidate has a DPT or MPT, Florida license, 2+ years of orthopedic outpatient experience, strong communication, EMR proficiency, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program.
• Florida licensure as a Physical Therapist in good standing.
• 2+ years of orthopedic or outpatient PT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations to determine deficits and rehab needs.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, injury prevention and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to coordinate patient care.
• Document progress accurately per clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
