Job summary

Army NAF seeks a food service worker at Fort Knox to assist in preparing, displaying and serving light food items for sale. You will greet customers, take orders, weigh portions, and deliver food from the service counter or buffet area.

Responsibilities include operating display cases, maintaining area cleanliness, and adhering to basic sanitation practices while working in a fast-paced environment. Local commuting area preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work without more than normal supervision.
• Ability to keep things neat, clean, and in order.
• Possess basic food preparation and handling techniques.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation principles
• Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
• Must have knowledge of basic arithmetic to take orders and provide change.
