Embassy Suites Beach Resort Gulf Shores is seeking a friendly Bartender to craft cocktails, greet guests, and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere poolside, in the lounge, or during events.

You will prepare beverages, maintain bar cleanliness and stock, upsell specials, check IDs, handle payments, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations. Previous hotel/restaurant experience is preferred, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume bar environment preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Excellent guest service and a friendly personality.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Must meet state/local alcohol service requirements.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages with accuracy and flair.
• Greet guests warmly and provide personalized service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels at the bar.
• Upsell drink specials, menu items, and promotions.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Handle cash, credit cards, and room charges accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following guidelines.
• Collaborate with restaurant and kitchen teams to support service flow.
• Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after shifts/events.
