Job summary

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health seeks a BE/BC plastic surgeon who is CAQ-eligible to build a long-term career in Maryland. Join an established community hospital–employed practice within a growing mid-Atlantic musculoskeletal center, focusing on hand and wrist.

The majority of the work is elective/subacute hand surgery with optional general plastic/cosmetic opportunities. Academic affiliations are available, and there is hand-only call at the community hospital.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility/certification in plastic surgery required.
• BE/BC in plastic surgery is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide elective hand surgery care within a musculoskeletal center.
• Collaborate with orthopedic colleagues.
• Offer opportunities in general plastic/cosmetic surgery based on interest.
• Engage in academic activities if desired.

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health is seeking a BE/BC plastic surgeon who is CAQ-eligible to build a long-term career in Maryland. Join an established community hospital-employed practice in a growing community in the mid-Atlantic. We have an excellent relationship with orthopedic surgery to function within a larger musculoskeletal center and focus on hand/wrist. The majority of the practice is elective/subacute hand surgery with general plastic/cosmetic surgery opportunity depending on the candidate's interest. Academic affiliations are also available for those interested. There will be some hand-only call commitment at our community hospital (not a trauma center).
