Overview

Pain Medicine — Monument Health Orthopedic & Specialty Hospital

Monument Health Pain Medicine in Rapid City is seeking a full-time BE/BC Pain Medicine physician to join our growing practice.

Team and Facilities

You will join a collaborative team that includes one full-time and five part-time pain medicine specialists, supported by a robust APP clinic. The practice features four fully equipped interventional suites with both fluoroscopy and ultrasound capabilities, with additional OR time available as needed at Monument Health Orthopedic and Specialty Hospital. The clinic currently sees over 100 patients per day, offering a strong procedural volume and immediate opportunity for a busy, well-supported practice.

Monument Health serves as a tertiary referral center and Level II trauma center for a five-state region, offering a full spectrum of medical and surgical specialties. Physicians drive organizational decision-making through a dyad leadership model, with meaningful representation at every level, including the system board. The pain program is closely integrated with an outstanding neurosurgery team, with regular multidisciplinary Pain Board conferences. Our care model positions pain medicine as the primary entry point for spine-related conditions. Additional on-site resources include physical and occupational therapy, as well as comprehensive imaging services, including MRI.
