Position Overview

Monument Health is seeking a full-time, Board-Eligible or Board-Certified (BE/BC) Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our rapidly growing practice. This position is being added due to expanding community needs and strong clinical demand across the region. The successful candidate will step into an established team committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered musculoskeletal care.

• State-of-the-Art Care: Practice out of a modern specialty hospital and multi-specialty clinic that includes Orthopedic Surgery, Physiatry, Pain Management, Sports Medicine, and Podiatry.


• Regional Tertiary Support: Surgical cases are supported by Monument Health Rapid City Hospital—a 417-bed regional tertiary care, Level 2 Trauma Center featuring top-notch equipment, navigation technology, and surgical staff.


• Streamlined Practice Support: Comprehensive Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support is provided to optimize efficiency and clinical workflows.


• Continuity of Care: Enjoy access to seamless, fully integrated on-site Physical and Occupational Therapy services.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible (BE/BC) in Orthopedic Surgery.


• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Spine Surgery is required.


• Experience is preferred, but exceptional newly trained fellows are encouraged to apply.


• Must be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of South Dakota.
