UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, MD seeks a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team and build a robust community-based practice. The physician will provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for musculoskeletal conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in quality initiatives within a large nonprofit health system.

Competenze

• MD or DO degree.
• Board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Eligibility for Maryland medical licensure.
• Eligibility for appropriate medical staff appointment and surgical privileges.
• Strong clinical and surgical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care.

Mansioni

• Evaluate and treat a broad range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Provide surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care.
• Deliver outpatient, inpatient, perioperative, and follow-up care as appropriate.
• Develop a strong community-based practice and referral network.
• Collaborate with emergency medicine, primary care, rehabilitation, anesthesia, and other clinical teams.
