University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Board-Certified General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in a full-time, hospital-employed role. The position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered orthopedic care to the Charles County community.

Competenze

• MD license in Maryland required.
• Board certification in specialty required.
• DEA or similar Narcotics Certification required.
• Clinical privileges at a UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
• Meets CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
• 2+ years of orthopedic MD experience.

Mansioni

• Provide high-quality, efficient, cost-effective, and compassionate care to assigned patients.
• Maintain complete and timely documentation of all patient services per standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
• Supervise administrative responsibilities of non-physician team members.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies including HR, billing, coding, and training standards.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines (OSHA, CLIA, labor laws).
• Collaborate on budget planning and review practice expenditures.
• Uphold UM Charles Regional's written goals and objectives.
• Promote a courteous, respectful atmosphere and enhance patient satisfaction and hospital reputation.
• Represent the practice in the community through speaking engagements and outreach.
• Work with hospital administration to adjust scheduling or practice style as needed for patient access.
