IDCOKC PLLC is an established 4 physician full-service infectious disease practice dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in the Oklahoma City and surrounding area which serves all the major hospitals in the metropolitan area.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a US Residency and ID Fellowship.
- Current OK State medical license.
- DEA prescribing authority.
- BLS Certification.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert consultation and support to hospital medical staff.
- Diagnose and treat infectious diseases in primarily an inpatient setting.
- Anticipated 12-15 inpatient visits daily (consultation and follow-ups).
- Anticipated one call weekend in five.
- Anticipated 3 half-days per outpatient clinic.
- Collaborate with hospital-based teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Contribute to infection prevention and control and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in infectious disease management.
