Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home in Willow Springs, IL. You will provide non-medical care, assist with daily activities, and help clients stay safe and independent.

We offer paid training, weekly pay, flexible hours, and benefits including health insurance and PTO. Driver's license and 1+ year home care experience are preferred; full-time or part-time schedules available to fit your life and community needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support physical therapy and prescribed exercises.
• Run errands and accompany clients for shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report unusual incidents to Care Coordinator.
• Act quickly in emergencies and follow the care plan.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time
