Magenium Solutions is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director (BDD) to drive business growth for our Application Dev. Practice. The BDD will be involved with creating value through strategic relationships and opportunities. The BDD will work with our APP. Dev. Practice, to bridge sales and delivery teams, ensuring our offerings are accurately represented in the market. You will collaborate with sellers within Magenium and AVI Systems (Parent Company) to facilitate growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, partners and industry leaders, including Microsoft.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, delivery) to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

Market Analysis and Research

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competition.

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales initiatives and campaigns to generate leads and close deals.
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet revenue goals.

Product and Solution Representation

  • Ensure accurate representation of services, products and solutions in the market.
  • Work closely with the delivery team to understand and communicate product capabilities and benefits.
  • An understanding of .Net Development

Collaboration with Parent Company

  • Coordinate with sellers within Magenium and AVI Systems to leverage synergies and facilitate growth.
  • Align business development efforts with the overall goals of the parent company.

Industry Knowledge

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

Preparing Business Proposals

  • Develop and prepare compelling business proposals and presentations.
  • Tailor proposals to meet the specific needs and requirements of potential clients.

Reporting and Metrics

  • Track and report on business development activities, performance metrics, and outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and challenges.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Several years in business development, sales, or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the technology or software industry.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of the technology landscape and familiarity with software development and application platforms.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into business value.
  • Skills:
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
