Job summary

Raise is seeking a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Advisor for a client in Jersey City, NJ. The role is hybrid (2-3 days on site) on a six-month contract with extension potential.

You will lead BIA, develop a Business Continuity Plan, and run BCM exercises, collaborating with Banking CM, LLC units, IT Risk, and Third-Party Risk. The job requires regulatory knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to drive remediation and timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing BCM practices in financial services.
• Understanding of enterprise-level BCM processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and leading BCM practices.
• Execution of BCM policies and risk management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provides SME guidance on EBCRM standards (BIA, BCP, exercises).
• Perform BIA to identify requirements and impact of failures.
• Develop a BCP and document recovery strategies and workarounds.
• Conduct BCM exercises to validate planning assumptions and tests.
• Coordinate to ensure approvals and remove roadblocks.
• Identify RTO/RPO gaps and assist in remediation workarounds.
• Collaborate with IT Risk and Third-Party Risk teams on risk and exit strategies.
• Support training on BCM components and activities.
