Job summary

WABO in the United States (North Carolina) seeks a research-focused engineer to translate goals into data-driven EEG/BCI models and online evaluation.

You will collaborate with software and embedded teams, reproduce baselines, conduct ablations, document processes, and ensure results are reviewable.

PhD and experience in EEG/BCI, signal processing, ML, Python/PyTorch required; equity opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant technical field (CS, signal processing, or biomedical engineering).
• Experience in algorithm research and project leadership.
• End-to-end EEG/BCI research experience is essential.
• Strong background in signal processing and ML with Python/PyTorch.
• Knowledge of leakage, cross-subject evaluation and online feedback is valuable.
• Ability to establish experiment management and code-quality practices.
• Ability to clearly explain individual contributions across disciplines.
