Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to design, coordinate, and maintain the Information Resources (IR) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) program. You will work with IR leadership, information security, safety, and university administration to align recovery capabilities with institutional priorities and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5 years of progressively responsible IT, business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, or program management experience.
• Healthcare/academic medical center or higher education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and improve the IR BCDR program with governance, standards, methodologies, and documentation.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide and IT-focused BIAs to identify critical services and recovery priorities.
• Lead development and validation of IT disaster recovery plans across on-premises, co-location, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with safety and business continuity leadership to align IT recovery planning with institutional continuity plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate disaster recovery tests, tabletop exercises, and drills.
• Work with IR infrastructure, application, cloud, identity, and security teams to embed recovery requirements into design and lifecycle management.
