Job summary

Thrive Autism Services is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead in-home ABA programs in the Gilbert, AZ area. You will design, implement, and monitor evidence-based treatment plans for children with autism, provide supervision to RBTs, and collaborate with families and schools to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Must hold BCBA certification.

Thrive Autism Services is a specialty agency for children with autism spectrum disorder, with both in-clinic and in-home services. We service clients with behavior, cognitive, developmental needs from 18 months into adulthood. We offer caring ABA therapy centered around the client’s voice and experience. Looking for BCBAs wanting a minimum of at least 10-15 hours a week, can build up to Full-time hours if interested

Thrive Autism Services is a specialty ABA provider dedicated to creating a healthy and safe environment where individuals with autism can learn, grow, and THRIVE. We are expanding our In-home program to bring evidence-based, family-centered ABA services to children and families across Arizona.

About the Role

As a BCBA you will plan, develop and monitor effective treatment using evidence-based treatment methods. You will collaborate with team members, services providers, families, and other agencies as appropriate and provides ongoing training and direct supervision to RBTs. Your work will directly change the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

What Makes This Role Different
  • Hourly pay: $80 - $100/hr
  • Part-time hours available starting at 10 hours up to Full-time
  • Will start out with a Part-time case load and can build up to full-time

What You'll Do
  • Develop, implement, andmonitorindividualized ABA treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide clinical oversight and program management for children with autism, primarily ages 2–10.
  • Conduct and oversee assessments using telehealth-adapted protocols, caregiverreport, direct observation, and available clinical data.
  • Analyze clinical data and make data-driven programming decisions.
  • Provide remote supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to RBTs through live video observation.
  • Provide caregiver and parent training through telehealth and coach families on implementing ABA strategies in daily routines.
  • Collaboratevirtually withfamilies, RBTs, clinical leadership, and other professionals, including schools and multidisciplinary providers.
  • Maintaintimelyclinical documentation, progress reports, and authorization requestsin accordance withpayer and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to strengthen and growThrive'stelehealth program.
What We're Looking For
Position Responsibilities
  • Conducts ABA program management for adults and children with autism spectrum disorders
  • Supervises RBTs and conducts training and coaching
  • Collaborate with client’s treatment team and families to improve communicative, social, and behavioral outcomes for all clients, including Behavior Technicians, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and schools
  • Facilitate parent training and support families to access community resources
  • Conduct supervision in client's home and through telehealth.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge and proficiency with a range of clinical approaches to care
  • Use professional knowledge and independent judgment to strategize continuous improvements.
  • Strong assessment skills and treatment planning expertise
  • Good analytical/critical thinking skills with the ability to record, track, and analyze therapy progress
  • Must have strong positive communication and interpersonal skills – works well with parents, children and other professionals
  • Client focus and strong ability to function as a team member
Requirements
  • Must be Certified as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the BACB.
  • Should be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of AZ (LBA)
  • Must be physically able to perform direct and supervision sessions
  • Must be able to administer variety of assessments and write treatment plans
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card
  • Must be willing to complete or have completed the 8-hour supervisor training through BACB
  • Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance card, CPR & First Aid certification
  • 1+ years of supervised BCBA work experience
  • Must hold a valid drivers’ license and maintain proper current insurance
Physical Requirements
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a variety of postures including but not limited to kneeling, squatting, standing, and sitting on the floor for extended periods of time. Candidate must also have the ability to move quickly to ensure client safety.
