Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in San Diego, CA is seeking a BCBA Clinical Supervisor to lead Intensive Behavior Support services with a manageable caseload and flexible scheduling. You will oversee treatment planning, provide clinical supervision, and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to promote positive outcomes for clients across ages.

Qualifications

• Active license or certification as BCBA or Licensed Behavior Analyst in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated supervisory and behavioral assessment experience preferred.
• Experience providing behavioral services to diverse clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans with evidence-based strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors and increase independence.
• Create schedules and routines tailored to each client’s needs.
• Provide leadership and coaching to staff for quality service delivery.
• Model and coach families in implementing behavior change procedures.
• Coordinate with local regional centers to support eligible clients.

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $100,000 + $6,000 annual bonus paid out monthly

Responsibilities Of BCBA Overseeing Intensive Behavior Support Services

• Develop treatment plans that recommend individualized, evidenced based strategies to reduce maladaptive behaviors, teach replacement behaviors, and increase independence across activities of daily living.
• Enjoy the flexibility to create and implement schedules and routines that are most beneficial for each client’s needs.
• Provide collaborative leadership and guidance to behavioral direct care staff through ongoing communication, coaching, training, and support to promote quality service delivery and professional growth.
• Help families by modeling the implementation of effective behavior change procedures. (FCT, DRA without Extinction, Toileting programs, schedule thinning/demand fading, etc.) as requested
• Service funding comes from partnerships with local regional centers to support individuals that are eligible for Regional Center services.

Qualifications

• Provide an active license or certification in good standing (e.g. Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Licensed Behavior Analyst)
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Supervisory and behavioral assessment experience preferred
• Experience providing behavioral services to children, and adults preferred
• Experience in quality management preferred
• Proficiency in the English
