Job summary

ABA Centers of Pennsylvania is seeking a Clinical Assessor (BCBA) to work with families and children, conducting initial assessments and coordinating with clinical teams. The role involves evaluating needs with standardized tools, guiding case transitions, and ensuring efficient intake processes in both home and clinical settings.

The ideal candidate holds a BCBA certification with 3+ years of supervisory experience, and must pass background/drug screenings and a driving record check.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required.
• Minimum 3+ years of supervision experience.
• Must pass background/drug screenings and driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Work with Admissions and clinicians to ensure intakes are completed for prospective families/clients.
• Conduct initial assessments using standardized tools (Vineland, ABAS-2, MBA, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFLS, ABLLS, PEAK, Socially Savvy, MAS, QABF, FAST).
• Ensure appropriate transition of cases after initial assessment, including overlap meetings with families and receiving team.
• Provide a maximum of 3 initial assessments per week in home and clinical environments.
• Conduct peer reviews with insurance companies for hours authorization.
• Train staff on conducting initial skills and adaptive assessments.
