Job summary

FOR A BETTER FUTURE LLC in California seeks a BCBA to design and oversee ABA intervention for clients in home, school, or community settings. The role focuses on assessments, BIPs, data-driven plans, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will supervise staff, provide training to caregivers, ensure ethical compliance, and maintain detailed documentation. A BCBA certification with BACB and two years ABA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing with BACB.
• Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of two years ABA experience.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong ethics and professional boundaries.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs, skills assessments, and related evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized BIPs.
• Analyze behavioral data and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Ensure treatment plans are evidence-based and individualized to client needs.
• Supervise, train, and provide ongoing feedback to behavior technicians and direct support staff.
• Conduct regular staff competency evaluations and coaching sessions.
• Provide caregiver and family training to promote consistency and skill generalization.
• Collaborate with case managers, healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with agency policies and professional standards.
• Ensure compliance with BAC ethical guidelines and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.
• Maintain required continuing education units (CEUs) to uphold BCBA certification
