Description

Job Purpose: Delivers quality healthcare based on extensive knowledge and understanding of childhood diseases and epidemiology. Establishes trust with patients and families to facilitate professional medical relationships focused on maintaining good health and effectively treating and preventing diseases and illnesses.

Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Develop an informed diagnosis based on technical knowledge and the child's medical history.
  2. Perform thorough examinations on newborns and children to monitor and record health and physical development.
  3. Diagnose a sick child's medical condition through examination and inquiry about symptoms.
  4. Assess and treat injuries, referring to other physicians if necessary.
  5. Inform parents about children's diet, exercise, and disease prevention.
  6. Recommend and interpret lab tests to identify infections or defects.
  7. Dispense vaccines according to governmental guidelines.
  8. Prescribe medications and provide clear instructions for use.
  9. Maintain confidential records of medical history and events.
  10. Participate in professional development to stay updated on pediatric advancements.
  11. Perform related duties as required.

Requirements
