Jimmy's BBQ in Malvern, PA is seeking a hardworking team member to join our kitchen crew as a Cook/Dishwasher/Prep, where fast-paced service and great BBQ flavor drive every shift.

You will prepare and cook menu items, perform prep tasks, wash dishes, restock supplies, and help with receiving deliveries while following food safety guidelines and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, food prep, or dishwashing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook BBQ menu items to order, following established recipes and quality standards
• Perform food prep tasks including chopping, marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace throughout each shift
• Wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries and inventory rotation
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code guidelines
• Support kitchen team during high-volume service periods to ensure smooth operations
