Job summary

Lockhart Smokehouse Arlington at 1650 E Randol Mill Rd, Arlington, TX 76011 is hiring a cashier to greet guests and take orders, accepting payments and balancing cash. You will operate the POS system, handle cash and cards, and provide friendly service in a fast-paced venue known for Texas BBQ traditions.

Responsibilities include serving guests, processing transactions, handling complaints, and maintaining accuracy in cash handling.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience with customer service and cash handling.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Able to operate a POS terminal and process payments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to venue, provide excellent customer service, and accept payment when guests are finished.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter into POS terminal.
• Receive payments and process transactions; balance cash drawer at close of shift; document voids.
• Communicate effectively with all guests and management; handle guest complaints as needed.
• Stand for long periods; lift items up to 25 pounds; use credit card machine; work nights, weekends, and holidays.
