Job Description

The Sr. Technical Support Analyst will report to the Enterprise Technology Team for US Hospital Products assisting with multi-platform hardware & software implementations & interoperability project support pre and post go live across the US. The Sr. Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to Baxter’s hardware and software products. This position is regarded as a Level 3 subject matter expert.

Technical Support Responsibilities:
  1. Answer customer inquiries via multi-channel communication e.g. phone, email etc.
  2. Create, update, and complete tickets within Baxter systems for customer support calls.
  3. Troubleshoot technical issues, offer solutions, and escalate when appropriate.
  4. Complete all documentation requirements within the Baxter system related to ticket details.
  5. Provide deployment guidance and technical troubleshooting for HoloLens Augmented Reality Partnership Advantage program.
  6. Provide upgrade services supporting product portfolio (DoseEdge, Exactamix, Abacus).
  7. Perform as Level 3 lead during triage of software issue remediation (DoseIQ/ IQ Enterprise).
  8. Troubleshoot PostgressSQL database issues on IQE gateway servers.
  9. Provide support on third party risk assessments.
Required Qualifications
  1. 4+ years in a previous technical support role.
  2. Previous experience with medical device integration.
  3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  4. Keen sense of attention to detail.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot wireless networking issues.
  6. Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system administration.
  7. Familiar with PostgressSQL.
  8. Familiar with Virtualized environments.
  9. Familiar with client-server architecture.
  10. Familiar with container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
  11. Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure).
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint).
  13. Knowledge of clinical interfaces using healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, CCDA, HISP, Direct Messaging, and/or HIE platforms).
  14. Ability to work rotational shifts 1st, 2nd, & 3rd including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledgeable on 802.11x protocol.
  2. CompTIA A+.
  3. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  4. Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, Google).
  5. Previous experience with Cisco & Aruba networks.
  6. Previous experience with VMware.
  7. Previous Healthcare IT experience.
Education

College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems related area preferred.

The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide his or her COVID-19 vaccination status as a condition to employment, pursuant to OSHA ETS requirements. This position can be located remotely within the country of India.
