Job summary

Bauer Hockey is seeking an E-commerce Inventory Analyst to drive inventory management for Direct-to-Consumer channels. Reporting to the DTC Planning Manager, you will build weekly reports, propose replenishments, monitor website stock, and create dashboards that translate data into actionable insights.

A data-driven mindset, strong Excel, SAP, Anaplan and BI tool experience will help you optimize our consumer experience.

Qualifications

  • Forecasting, buying, or supply chain experience for ecommerce is required.
  • Proficiency with listed tools and platforms to build reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations and stories.
  • Strong communication across all levels and confidentiality.

Want to join our team as an E-commerce Inventory Analyst?

Reporting into the DTC Planning Manager, the E-commerce Inventory Analyst will primarily focus on driving business results through inventory management to meet evolving business needs for Bauer Hockey. This role will be responsible for purchasing, reporting, and monitoring of inventory for the Direct-to-Consumer business. This individual thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is detail oriented and brings an entrepreneurial work style.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and disseminate weekly reports showcasing the performance of Bauer Hockey’s direct to consumer channels.
  • Propose recommended buys to meet consumer needs based on trends and product launches.
  • Monitor inventory levels across websites and realms. Place replenishment orders when inventory becomes low on popular items under the direction of the DTC Planning Manager.
  • Represent DTC team in key cross‑functional meetings.
  • Develop new reports and visualizations that provide your team members with insights.
  • Fulfill ad‑hoc data requests for peers and leadership. This may include data retrieval, building slides and assisting with data‑supported recommendations.
  • Take initiative to monitor trends and discover patterns that can be used to grow the business, improve the digital experience and/or lead us to better outcomes.
  • Ensure integrity of information reported/presented.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in forecasting, buying, or supply chain, preferably for an ecommerce business.
  • Proficiency with Excel, SAP, Anaplan, and cloud‑based BI tools, preferably Google, AWS or Tableau.
  • Experience with Shopify Platform, Google Analytics, Klayvio, Google Ad Words, Facebook Ads Manager is an asset.
  • Experience in developing reports and dashboards, preferably for an ecommerce business.
  • Ability to apply data to challenges and transform those into opportunities to astound the consumer or drive operational efficiencies.
  • Tremendous storytelling ability with the ability to weave data into the recommendation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization.
  • Curious by nature with a keen sense of what’s normal and what’s anomalous.
  • Hockey or Lacrosse playing experience would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent partner who fosters a team approach to business.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 CAD.
