Position Overview

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to leadership, focusing on managing relationships, scheduling, and maintaining organizational systems that enable effective executive function.

Battleground Alliance is a multientity campaign committed to strengthening democratic institutions and civic engagement in competitive political environments. We work to build coalitions, support grassroots organizing, and voter engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for leadership team and coalition partners
  • Take detailed meeting notes, track action items, and distribute follow-up communications
  • Manage and update contact databases for national partners, local coordinators, and target district contacts
  • Support travel arrangements and expense tracking for staff
  • Provide administrative support for new systems implementation
  • Maintain confidential strategic documents and partner agreements
  • Serve as liaison between leadership and internal/external stakeholders
  • Provide general administrative support for day-to-day executive operations
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of operations, executive support, administrative, or related professional experience
  • Political campaign, organizing and advocacy experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in office administration and executive support activities
  • Basic understanding of 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 and PAC compliance

Compensation
  • $70,000-$80,000 depending on experience
