Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Bridgeton, MO, is looking for a Warehouse Team Member II to maintain a well-stocked, organized facility and help route service managers. You will regularly deliver batteries and support daily operations.

The role requires ability to load/unload, restock, operate a forklift, and follow driver program requirements. Candidates should have at least 1 year warehouse experience and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing and distribution methods.
• Able to operate motor vehicles and/or forklift with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload batteries.
• Restock batteries.
• Charge, clean, date and rewrap rotations.
• Charge, test, clean, and date adjustment batteries.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
• Accurately maintain warehouse reporting and claims.
• Operate a forklift and motor vehicle.
• Run the Hot Shots on a timely basis as needed.
• Fill in for NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM, as needed.
• Collect and handle payments on account (cash, checks, money orders).
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.
• Follow/fulfill all driver program requirements.
• Other duties as requested.
