Job summary

Cirba Solutions is seeking a Battery Technician for the Lithium Line to set up and operate equipment involved in recycling lithium batteries. The role emphasizes safety, high-quality output, and reliable, efficient operation on a shift window of 2:00pm to 10:30pm.

Responsibilities include routine equipment setup, SOP-based operation, and maintaining the filter press while ensuring compliance with EH&S standards and housekeeping expectations.

Qualifications

• Frequently lift 10–40 pounds safely and with proper technique.
• Forklift experience or certification is required.
• Knowledge of machinery and basic tools is preferred.
• Understanding of operating procedures and SOPs.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Attention to detail and strong teamwork skills.
• Lockout/Tagout experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily set up of equipment for operation and start-up.
• Operate equipment in accordance with SOPs and maintain throughput.
• Maintain and clean the filter press and surrounding area.
• Make adjustments to improve equipment performance when needed.
• Operate a forklift to move finished product and materials.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.

The Battery Technician Lithium Line is responsible for performing various tasks to set up and operate equipment in order to complete process of recycling lithium batteries while ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity and is properly maintained. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
• Daily set up of equipment for operation
• Operate equipment according to SOPs.
• Maintain and clean filter press.
• Make adjustments to equipment when necessary to improve performance.
• Operating a forklift to move finished product.
• Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Clean equipment and maintain cleanliness in work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
• Forklift experience.
