Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.

• Familiarity with IEE battery maintenance practices and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain battery systems, monitoring, charging, racks, rooms, and enclosures.
• Record logs and logs in Maximo; suggest system improvements.
• Prepare battery rooms for maintenance; verify proper temperature and ventilation.
• Perform voltage, resistance, and specific gravity tests; fill batteries with water when needed.
• Produce routine service records and participate in training of new technicians.
