Argonne National Laboratory’s STEP Department seeks an AVTC Technical Operations and Battery Systems Engineer to advance battery engineering and project delivery across its energy and transportation programs. The role blends technical leadership, program management, and software/data systems development to support EcoCAR and other workforce initiatives.

The selected candidate will lead battery engineering activities, coordinate industry sponsors, design module architectures, and build workflows

Competenze

• Experience leading battery engineering or systems integration in a research, industry, or academic environment.
• Knowledge of high-voltage battery architecture and safety compliance.
• Experience with technical project management and cross-functional coordination.

Mansioni

• Lead EcoCAR battery engineering activities and coordinate industry sponsors.
• Design and validate custom battery modules for pilot deployments.
• Develop workflows and software tools to improve program delivery.
• Mentor students and foster external partnerships.
