Job summary

Factory Motor Parts is seeking a Battery Marketer to deliver, install, and service batteries across an assigned route, providing exceptional customer support and educating customers on offerings.

You will stock inventory, manage cores, document service logs, and pursue new prospects while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines. A strong customer service orientation and the ability to lift heavy batteries are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service orientation.
• Experience in route-based sales or delivery is a plus.
• Ability to educate customers on product offerings and features.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, replenish, and pick up batteries at customer locations according to route schedule.
• Stock and organize customers’ battery inventory to maintain optimal levels.
• Provide customers with accurate information on battery offerings, features, and benefits.
• Recommend products or services based on observed needs and usage patterns.
• Handle and document battery cores, ensuring policy compliance.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts and pursue new prospects.
• Complete all required paperwork, manifests, service logs, and inspection forms accurately.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations regarding battery handling and transportation.
