Job summary

Forge Nano Inc. is seeking a Battery Quality Engineer in Thornton, CO to lead incoming material QC and testing for the Battery Prototype Line. You will oversee material lifecycle from receiving to final release, generating reliable data, and applying electrochemistry knowledge for safe, quality-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, metrology, calibration, and cross-functional interaction with R&D and QC teams in a production environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field is required.
• Hands-on laboratory experience generating reliable, reproducible data is required.
• Ability to work in lab and cleanroom with PPE and safety training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming materials per procedures and perform IQC sampling.
• Review COAs and material performance data; support supplier quality investigations.
• Conduct SPC analyses (Cp/Cpk) and create control charts to monitor process quality.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and calibration tracking.
