Job summary

Crown Battery Manufacturing Co in Fremont, OH is seeking a SLI Pasting Mixer to join the Manufacturing team. The role focuses on equipment setup, changeovers, and quality checks to ensure pasted plates meet specifications while running within set parameters.

Responsibilities include following procedures, assisting with loading grids, performing PM tasks, and maintaining a safe, clean production area. Prior manufacturing experience and basic math/communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience with safety and environmental training.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing/factory experience preferred in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervision, and management.
• Familiar with inspection equipment, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Ability to use some hand tools.
• Ability to listen effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeovers of mixing equipment to produce pasted plates.
• Ensure products meet specifications and quality characteristics.
• Follow policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Identify and report non-conformities to leads.
• Support corrective, preventive, and improvement actions.
• Perform PM tasks on equipment weekly/monthly.
• Assist Pasting Operator with loading grids and during quality checks.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness on the production floor.
